Why Apple is Winning the Game

There is no argument that Apple makes some of the best products in the world. But is it worth your money?

Apple even though its comparatively lower market share is more profitable and has more customer loyalty than the rivals. Here are some of the reasons for that:

  1. Apple doesn't overcomplicate things

The thing I adore about apple is their simplicity and elegance. They do not try to scare the average consumer with numbers that they don't understand. They just convince the consumer what they are getting out of it. But other companies make this mistake all the time. They brag a lot about the extra ram/clock speed their newer models have, which the average consumer just doesn't give a damn about.

2. The Price

Apple products are overpriced. But it's worth it if you look at it from a different perspective. They put a ton of money on Research and development to fine-tune the smaller things. Not many companies have the liberty or financial freedom to do it like Apple. When Apple makes a product, they think about a lot of things, the look, the feel, the ergonomics. And that really shows! If you are a person whose work is related to IT or just involves a lot of screentime, you will very much appreciate the convenience Apple Products brings to the table and you will not regret the extra money you spend on it.

Also, they charge you only once, when you buy the product. And the product comes with most of the essential software that can get the work done. Microsoft Office even in Microsoft computers is a paid addon even though they are very essential applications. But Apple provides applications like Pages, Keynote, Numbers, etc that van get the work done. And people who require more sophistication can simply purchase Microsoft Office, which is very refined software.

3. Ecosystem

Some people see this as a curse, and some others as a boon. All the apple products in the apple catalog are interlinked to each other. It is the little things, the small time-savers that make all the difference. An example of this the AirPods automatically switching connectivity as you switch devices. You can watch a video on your iPad, then continue on your iPhone without lifting a finger, the airport detects that and configures itself. When I learned about this feature, man I was hooked! The most frustrating thing for me with Bluetooth headphones was the difficulty of configuring the Bluetooth connection.

4.Brand Value

Apple consumers are proud of them owning an apple product. People will buy anything with the Apple branding. This is why they can get away with selling $999 Monitor stands. They can't be blamed though because they are making affordable products as well. And the people who buy these expensive stands are the same people who are using computers which cost more than 5 times the price of the stand. The product is meant for them and not the average consumers like us

Conclusion

Everybody appreciates quality products, people might be skeptical about the price tag, but pure innovation is something you simply can't put a price tag on.
